Interviews: INDOMINION
On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Metal artist INDOMINION from the USA. Check out this artist and follow them on his FACEBOOK PAGE.
1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you plan it or come out just like that?
The meaning is dual. Such as existence is dual. It was born out of the idea of rebellion against the dominion of external
forces such as nature, god, etc. On a deeper level, it points to one's
own inner dominion and thoughts, subconscious desires, and fears. It is all connected. Self-mastery is the central focus.
2. Why did you want to play this genre?
Intense hard music has a way of shaking people up and igniting
their energy. That is what I want to do. Hit them hard and
spark the flame.
3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?
Well, it's just me in this band, but I feel like I know myself a lot better now (laughs)
4. Each band member's favorite band?
Just me again. My favorite band right now is probably Jinjer.
They are very different and unique.
5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?
Mainly my own personal pain and struggles. If I can help someone out
by relating to them the way other artists have helped me through their struggles then I've successfully paid it forward.
6. Where was your last gig?
I'm in Georgia now but my last gig was in Little Rock Arkansas
7. Where would you like to act?
Everywhere. Every corner of the earth.
8. Whom would you like to feature with?
Anyone with a good message.
9. Whom not?
Those who abuse their platform for ego.
10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?
1st gig is always a little rough. Look on the bright side, you have other
people with you on stage. I just have me onstage. If I can do it by myself, then you can do it as a group.
11. What bands have inspired you the most?
Randy Rhoads, Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Sepultura, Lamb of God,
Meshuggah, Tool
12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?
A strand of hair from my scalp. I think she was a witch planning
a spell.
13. What do you think of your fans?
I appreciate them for giving me their time and attention. It is the greatest gift one can receive.
14. What do you think of our site?
I'm stoked at how well your site is put together and all the great artists you have up there. I will be checking them all out.
15. Something to add?
I am honored by the opportunity to share my music with you.
INDOMINION just started in 2023 but there is so much more to come and I
look forward to getting this album done and hitting the road to come
see you all in 2024. Look out for the next track 'Volition' to be released in September. It will be savagely brutal and worth the wait.
