Interviews: SATSURIKU ROBOT

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Thrash Metal band SATSURIKU ROBOT from Japan. Check out this band and follow them on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you plan it or come out just like that?? 

Founders Hide and Yuuki have in common that they love robot characters. With that as a hint, Hide used his brain maximize and came up with the name of the band. “Satsuriku” means “slaughter in Japanese

2. Why did you want to play this genre??

We love thrash metal the most and we believe Thrash Metal is the coolest music.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed??

Hide and Yuuki are the band members of ARISE (JAPAN), who played before SATSURIKU ROBOT. The vocalist, Ken, was an acquaintance of Yuuki. Yuuki once played drums in Ken's band. Kazuya met Yuuki through copy sessions of a Japanese band called Onmyōza.

4. Each band member's favorite band??

HIDE: 聖飢魔II(SEIKIMA-II)

KEN: Vision of Disorde, Pantera, snapcase, angel maker, Cryptopsy, The Crown, Crisix 

AZUYA:陰陽座(Onmyōza), Psychic Lover, Metallica, Judas Priest

YUUKI: Slayer, Kreator, Dissection, Helloween, Blind Guardian, Judas Priest, King Crimson, Opeth, X(Japan), Annihilator

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs??

Slayer, Sepultra, etc.....many thrash metal, heavy rock, and other music that inspire us.

6. Where was your last gig??

2023.08.20. We played at [what's up] in Uguisudani, Tokyo, JAPAN.

7. Where would you like to act??

We want to perform in a place where we can eat delicious local food.

8. Whom would you like to feature with??

We would like to play with the bands belonging to Wormholedeath!

9. Whom not??

Nothing in particular.

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that??

Nothing in particular.

KEN: Metallica, Anthrax, Testament, Suicidal Tendencies, Exhorder, United

KAZUYA:マキシマムザホルモン(MAXIMUM THE HORMONE), Slipknot, Destruction, Children of Bodom

YUUKI: Black Sabbath, Cradle of Filth, Slayer, Annihilator, Dissection, Testament 

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?? 

Nothing in particular.

13. What do you think of your fans?? 

Fans are people to thank. They support us, for example...come to our lives, buy our goods, listen to our music, give us their opinion... We are grateful for all of them.

14. What do you think of our site?

We think it's a good site with a lot of artist photos and a lot of content.
