Interviews: W't'M

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Hard Rock/Metal band W't'M from Denmark/Italy. Check out this band and follow them on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you plan it or come out just like that?

It was originally a shortening of an old nickname (Wolle the Moose) that Ole (Bass) had.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

We all like this genre, because of the melodic elements and it still has the Metal edge to it. The shift between complex parts, and ear-catching melodic parts is very fulfilling to play as a band

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Ole, John, Peter, and Michael have known each other for a very long time, and we have also been playing together in different bands before. Ole hooked up with Marica Moire via YouTube, so we did not know her before that.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

It is difficult to pick one band, but here are a few: Dream Theater, Iron Maiden, Within Temptation, Mammoth

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Things that have happened through life, but also by listening to music, and going to concerts

6. Where was your last gig?

We actually never had a chance to play live in this new constellation, but we are looking forward to playing live in the future

7. Where would you like to act?

Copenhell in Denmark would be fantastic

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Ouch, so many bands to mention. Of course, Dream Theater would be the dream

9. Whom not?

We are open to suggestions, so I wouldn't count anything out.

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?

Not really, but it is always exciting before going on stage. I think, if you have done your homework, and know the songs to perfection, you can go on stage much more relaxed.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Dream Theater, Iron Maiden, Europe, Dio, Amaranthe, Within Temptation, Kamelot and many more!

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

At a live concert with my other band, we sold thong panties with our band logo on. A young girl asked when they were back in stock because they were sold out. That was pretty weird.

13. What do you think of your fans?

The fans are the most important thing, without them, there would be no live concerts

14. Something to add?

We just wanna thank you for your interest, and we are looking forward to making more music in the near future
