Behind The Scenes: FRAUGHT - The Hunt (Official Video)

The Hunt was filmed in the suitably named 'Hellfire Studios', which is located near to the infamous 'Hellfire Club' in the Wicklow Mountains in Ireland. Not only does this location hold a special place in Ireland's ancient past, but the studio itself is also special to the band, as it is where our previous EP 'Splitting Tongues' was recorded, so the band's sound is etched into the walls so to speak. The energy that room brings as well as the setting itself was exactly what we were after in the video.

 

We worked with Ray from Ray K Media to shoot and edit the video, as we were fans of his work that was done for other bands and live shows in the past. Ray has also been a part of the Irish Metal scene for many years so we knew the idea and vision would be in good hands.

 

We opted for a live performance approach to the video as we felt this captured the energy of the song but also the energy of us performing as a band. We've received a lot of excellent feedback from our live show, and this is something we wanted to capture and harness in the video.
