Behind The Tracks: Solnedgang - Nornir (Single) (2023)

'Nornir' is the first single from the upcoming debut album. Atmospheric and melodic, the song takes the listener on a journey through the ether, from the land of men to the land of the gods.

Inspired by Norse mythology, the different parts represent the norns – mysterious 'weavers of the world' – and the valkyries – who choose which fallen warriors should go to Odin’s Valhalla and Freyja’s Folkvangr.

It starts off with the main riff and goes into one of the atmospheric parts that represent the norns deliberating and deciding the fates of human warriors. It then goes into the heavy chorus part, which represent the valkyries taking the fallen warriors to Valhalla/Folkvangr.
