Behind The Tracks: TROUNCE - Walls (Single) (2023)

Jona Nido: I somehow blended all my influences from heavy and extreme music into this one track. It's a song I absolutely love performing live, and it's a personal favorite on the album. Though I believe it's a challenging song to listen to, as it takes the listener on a wild ride from noisy punk D-beat to epic choruses with blast beats, and then dives into super technical and chaotic sections. If I had to compare it to food, it would be like a goat cheese stick filled with chocolate, deep-fried in fish sauce, wrapped in gorgonzola-flavored marshmallows, marinated in maple syrup, and garnished with pickles.
