Interviews: Baltavar

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Dark Atmospheric Thrash Metal band Baltavar from Bulgaria. Check out this band and follow them on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you plan it or come out just like that?

The name of the album came from that we just named the songs and our bassist Emil Boyanov said " Hey boys how about to call the album "Dark Science". " we like it "cool name".

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Because we think this is a more different genre, also makes us different and unique. 

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Yes, we are known as "Baltavar", actually we are very good friends.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

Emil Boyanov definitely is Metallic. Plamen Petkov like old-school thrash bands like "Pestilence", "Testament" and "Exodus". Krasimir Ivanov loved "Arch Enemy " at the same time as "UDO " and "Accept" Rumen Kunchev definitely liked melodic death metal like "Amon Amart", but also old school bands like "Scorpions".

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

All metal music inspires us to create more songs.

6. Where was your last gig?

The last gig was in Bulgaria, Stara Zagora - city, in a metal club named "КЛУБЪ".

7. Where would you like to act?

Everywhere that has a stage for metal music.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Maybe we want to play with a band with a similar style of metal. 9. Whom not? We don't know yet.

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?

All of us have suffered from stage fright and sometimes even now we experience it. The tip we can give beginners is just to relax and jump into the emotions the stage gives them.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

We cannot give a specific name, but we think the inspiration comes from that we all listen to different kinds of metal.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

It's too uncensored for this interview.

13. What do you think of your fans?

They are the most important thing for the music. They are the things that make music live.

14. What do you think of our site?

Your site is cool, we think, all we need more sites like yours.
