Behind The Artworks: The Crotals - Conjure (2023)

We wanted to create a cover that could, in a way, remind of the artwork of Horde, our previous album. Maude, our baritone guitar player, loves to find and photograph abstract shapes, materials or textures on sidewalks, walls and grounds that can call personal interpretations to mind. That what she did for both covers (she was then helped by her graphic designer friend David).

We see here a dead hanged dog, mouth open and head down. Not that cheerful, right? What do you see?
