While The Black Nativity is a unique project for us, we tried hard to continue many of the images and themes that have become such an integral part of our band. WWI, artificial intelligence, and the magi all make their appearance. Jairus, the producer used AI to create the album cover. Since the liner notes are accompanied by a science fiction short story, it felt appropriate to use AI. Our song “Artifice Intelligence” was in the back of my mind a lot during the creation.
