Track By Tracks: Arctic Dreams - And The Agony Has Started (2023)

Analyzing feedback from our listeners, we came to the conclusion that it is very difficult for them to define what genre we play in. Someone tries to compare us with Dope Stars Inc and Deathstars, someone hears SepticFlesh of "Revolution DNA" times, late "cosmic" Samael, Chaostar as if stuffed from inside with avant-garde chaos and occult verses of Nox Aurea. It would seem to be a complete mess, but... we were trying to surprise the listener very much))))) We didn't want to play some "-metal" or "-core" because it's all already there, so we tried to do something special. We've been going for a long time to the release of our new album, which in many ways was a new start and almost a reincarnation for us, and we tried to take into account all the subtleties and nuances as much as possible.

Welcome to our cosmic hell:

1. Let Me Introduce My Cosmic Hell:

A kind of intro of our creation. In this track, we reveal our musical concept: a wild mixture of heavy metal with classical music and electronic gothic.

2. Requiem for My War:

A kind of battle anthem, revealing the theme of war, the theme of blood and horror.

3. The Way to Infinity:

Probably the most ambiguous theme on the whole album. We worked for a long time on the lyrics of the track, which is basically about immortality and the insignificance of earthly existence.

4. The City Built on Bones:

We couldn't pass by the theme of the history of the city where we started our activity. And that's why we decided to tell it in this track and in the clip of the same name.

5. The Arctic Dreams:

This theme is about our spirit and ideology. In the track, the theme of the Arctic North is revealed.

6. The Waltz of Chernobyl:

April 26, 1986. The worst nuclear disaster in history.

7. And the Agony Has Started

Apocalypse track. A little bit touches on the biblical theme of redemption of mankind's sins.

8. Join to Space:

In this instrumental composition, we are carried through the vastness of the Universe

9. Game Over:

Theme about Constructor, the Great and Terrible Saw. Of course, based on the famous blockbuster series.

10. Welcome to the City 17:

G-Man monologue addressed to Gordon Freeman. Yes, yes, you have understood correctly, it is about the famous trilogy of Half-Life games.
