Track By Tracks: Cedric Vassal - Inner Kingdom (2023)

1.Awakening:

This song, which opens the album, is for me an awakening to a new musical world. It gradually evokes our own awareness of the importance that choices have on our lives. Every decision we make takes us in a new direction and makes us evolve.

2. Order In Chaos:

This song talks about the fact that there is always good in every situation, even if everything seems complicated or chaotic. This track with its sustained tempo and dark rhythms is punctuated by a soothing chorus which allows us to catch our breath and refocus.

3. Endless:

Life has its share of surprises in store for us, good or bad, and in all cases, we must move forward, always, without stopping. The title could have been called "Until the end" but "Endless" is more reminiscent of this constant flow. Even in the darkest hours of our existence we must get up and move forward. This is what I tried to represent with this rather positive title but with a darker passage, which fades away to return to the theme and continue.

4.SuperHeroes:

This title evokes the fact that there is a Superheroes in each of us. We are all capable of accomplishing great things as long as we believe in it and give ourselves the means. Too often we put mental barriers on ourselves before trying. You might be surprised at what you are capable of accomplishing... “They didn’t know it was impossible, so they did it. » –Mark Twain

5. Eye of the storm:

This title seemingly has the same theme as Order In Chaos or Endless The eye of the storm represents moments of calm in a daily life of mental overload This can involve reading, meditation, or any other activity that allows you to relax and recharge your batteries. Once again, it is represented here by a more soothing chorus
