Behind The Artworks: Sociasylum - Harmony Of Discordance (2024)

With the artwork we wanted to follow our previous approach and have it fully hand-painted, the same way as with our previous LP “Crossroads”, but this time we wanted to have the title and logo as well done by hand. The beautiful dark artwork was done by our friend and ex-member, Erik Hallik (he did vocals on our self-titled EP from 2014).

With this EP, which was mainly written during COVID-19, we didn’t have a clear visual idea for the artwork, so we decided to provide some keywords based on the song themes and general color scheme to the artist to inject his own creativity. As with all Erik Hallik’s paintings, we were again blown away by the end result.
