S: The artwork for the album is a still photo from the movie «Dr Mabuse, der Spieler», a German silent movie from 1922.

I saw a photo from that movie in a book and always thought it would make a phenomenal album cover. As the album started taking shape it became more and more clear that it was meant to have that cover.

The movie has a lot of scenes and moments that evoke feelings that match the album and its lyrical themes well.
