Behind The Tracks: Frank Never Dies - Red Moon Rising (Single) (2024)

Red Moon Rising is the first single of the homonymous second LP of Frank Never Dies, that will be released in spring 2024 via Argonauta Records.

Tribal rhythm patterns meet a 70 guitar and vintage synths, creating a mysterious and violent sound, inspired by bands like Black Sabbath, and Soundgarden.

The track suddenly changes its mood at the end, plunging into a suspended atmosphere recalling krautrock and psychedelic music by Tangerine in Dream and the first works by Franco Battiato.

Lyrics are about anger and madness, a sort of delirium driven by the red moon rising and fire as a ritual of redemption. The last words are in Italian.
