Speaking on the single, lead vocalist Andy Dietrich says, "I wrote this song when we were kids, sometime around 1998. I think it's about a kid that was a shithead to me in grade school and then when we went to highschool he wasn't popular anymore. Conversely, this song sounded terrible on our first release, but with a little extra time and wisdom, it actually sounds a little better… but still sounds like it was written by a 16 year old. I don't know???.... Get off my lawn!"
