Interviews: Not Dead Yet
On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Pop Punk band Not Dead Yet from the UK. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.
1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, did you plan it, or came out just like that?
I think the idea that punks are not dead yet?
2. Why did you want to play this genre?
Pop punk is a high-energy, party genre that makes me think of my childhood, so yeah...Sign me up
3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?
The majority of the band have played with each other on other projects and we also studied music at college
together.
4. Each band member's favorite band?
Nofx, blink, Sum 41, Currents, Neck Deep, Dayseeker.
5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?
Watching my favorite bands play live and seeing the feedback they receive is always a big pusher in
writing for me.
6. Where was your last gig?
Finns in Weymouth. It was a Headline show and also our first show with our new bassist Aaron.
7. Where would you like to act?
Anywhere, any time, anyhow. We just love playing for anyone.
8. Whom would you like to feature with?
Mark Hoppus, Ben Barlow, Four Year Strong, Courtney Laplante.
9. Whom not?
Cardi B.
10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?
Not so much stage fright but we guarantee anyone big or small feels nervous going onto a stage to
perform. If you are confident in your ability and your band mates then rely on that and you won't fail.
11. What bands have inspired you the most?
Green Day, Blink, Neck Deep, All Time Low, State Champs, Four Year Strong.
12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?
To take our clothes off, it seems to be a recurring theme.
13. What do you think of your fans?
Anyone who gives up their time to listen to what we create whether you like it or not is amazing in our
books.
14. What do you think of our site?
Very user friendly and everything is easy to read, a lot of websites become too cluttered.
15. Something to add?
