Behind The Artworks: Shade Of Sorrow - Upon The Fields Of Grief (2024)

The title track has this war theme, the horrors of war and the unbearable desperation it creates had to be definitely the carrying theme of album artwork. Lonely girl sitting on the ground, ravaged by nuclear war. No hope found. The feeling and atmosphere of the artwork also fit very well for the overall feeling of the album. The sadness and sorrow is very tangible on this. I made the original picture myself and it was pretty good, but then decided to send it to GoGo Melone if she would make it better. And boy did she, the artwork is amazing! One of the coolest album covers I’ve ever seen.
