Behind The Tracks: YR - Nidhogg (Single) (2024)

Nidhogg came to be quite early in the writing process. Based around aggressive chord changes we wanted lyrics and rhythmic to mirror that.

 

The lyrics are based around the concept of going to war armed to the teeth with nothing to lose and a burning hatred.

 

Driven by a conviction that it is the right thing to do, and the opposer is wrong in whatever fundamentalist way.

 

The fighter is equipped with axe and sword to emphasize the fact that this is equally relevant thousand years ago as it is today and will be for as long as mankind draws breath.”
