In this new interview, we sat down with the Brazilian Metal band INTERNAL BLEEDING to ask questions about their album, "INSOMNIA".

1. What can you say about this CD?

Internal Bleeding is the CD that introduced 8K to the music scene, with a bold proposal to become a reference in the modern metal segment, which until then was little known in Brazil and unprecedented in our state. In this CD, we began to showcase our musical personality and the strengths of each member, together creating our musical identity.

2. What is the meaning of the CD’s title?

Internal Bleeding means, for us, internal afflictions, pains, and events that affect us and that we keep inside, trying to deal with them alone.

3. Who is the composer of the CD?

The entire band.

4. If you had to choose a song, which one would you choose?

The title track Internal Bleeding, because this song was the first and it presents the main elements of the band in a single track. It starts with a soft introduction, with complex yet beautiful phrasing, transitioning to a main metal riff that is interspersed with tense breakdown moments and complex parts, leading to a crescendo and ending in an emotional way.

5. Is there any special message on this CD? If so, what is it?

Yes, there are frustrations and losses that shake and discourage us. Being affected is naturally human, but the important aspect is to remain constant and keep moving forward, the only way to evolve.

6. Is there any lyric you would love to share?

Yes, the lyrics of Sanity, like other lyrics we have, show the conflict we face in difficult moments and the internal struggle that puts our sanity at stake.

7. What inspirations were important for this album?

Musically, we are influenced by groovy and different rhythms, complex and beautiful harmonies, and heaviness. When we are composing, we are guided by sensations to create the songs, not by commercial aspects, but sensory ones for us and for those who listen. The lyrics are entirely based on our personal feelings and life stories. In fact, the song Internal Bleeding is entirely based on the personal experience of our vocalist.
