Interviews: Horse Of Troja

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Hard Rock band Horse Of Troja from Sweden. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you plan it or come out just like that?

HOT: We are a band from Sweden and we say the English word Trojan Horse in a slightly different way, so we twisted and turned this word a bit and thought Horse Of Troja sounded really cool

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

HOT: We in the Band grew up with Judas Priest, Deep Purple, Whitesnake, Led Zeppelin, Budgie so it feels like the natural way to go

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

HOT: We have had quite a few constellations in this band, but the original members who remain are Guitar - Johan Drums - Pertti. Then the singer Håkan came into the picture, So the three of us are the ones who have played together for about 10 years. Bass Johnnie and Second Guitarist Chris are new to the Band 1 year for Johnnie 6 months for Chris

4. Each band member's favorite band?

Johan - Judas Priest

Håkan - Led Zeppelin

Pertti - Judas Priest

Johnnie - Magnum Chris? We don't know 😉 We haven't asked, He's too new to the Band 

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

HOT: Johan usually comes up with a riff, a suggestion that we then work on together in the rehearsal room. The lyrics are like most of them from life, things that happen or can happen during the course of life. Love, Memories from the past 😉 But it is Johan and Håkan who share the task of coming up with the lyrics 

6. Where was your last gig?

HOT: We Supported Dream Evil at Kärrgruveparken in Norberg Sweden

7. Where would you like to act?

HOT: Why Not at Madison Square Garden or Budakon Japan

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

HOT: Why Not Judas Priest?

9. Whom not?

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?

HOT: Yes, I think it's good to be a little nervous before a gig, you sharpen yourself up a bit. All of us in the Band have slightly different routines around our gigs depending on whether it is a bigger or smaller gig. But now we have been out and played quite a lot together so we are safe with each other. Tip? I think you have to find your own way of dealing with this. I (Pertti) Like to go into my own bubble, don't talk to people much, and like to be in peace while the others do other things. So finding what you are comfortable with is the best I can say

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

HOT: Judas Priest, Led Zeppelin, Whitesnake, Deep Purple

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

HOT: We're not that famous yet so we haven't gotten any weird questions yet 😉 

13. What do you think of your fans?

HOT: Without them, we would be nothing, So we really appreciate them, Now we have more listeners abroad on T Let's say Spotify than we have in Sweden so I really hope we get the opportunity to come out and play and thank everyone who listens to Horse Of Troja

14. What do you think of our site?

HOT: We just came across this site through our Record company Sliptrick Records. We really appreciate that you want to talk to us and We Hope you wanna do it again in the near future
