Behind The Tracks: Go For Gold - Chemical (Post-Malone Cover)

We chose to cover “Chemical” really just based on a feeling. The song is emotional and we connected with it personally and wanted to convey the same message as the original song, but infuse it sonically with our own sound.

 

Our process included us creating 15 different versions of the cover before finding the idea that stuck, which we started writing 2 months after the original was released. We had to take some time to step away from it before eventually returning with a clear vision, resulting in what we are putting out into the world today.
