Behind The Tracks: Rabbit On Mondays - Feeling Restless (Single) (2024)

The story behind 'Feeling Restless' is about a man who admires a woman he's longed for but is hesitant to express those feelings. There is a sense of restlessness and obsession that makes his feelings complicated. This man can only look at her and not possess her because expressing his love could ruin the friendship between the man and the woman.

The creative process was at our vocalist's boarding house as well as a workshop looking for material that is different from other genres, so the idea of our vocalist's restless lyrics emerged which became the lyrics of 'Feeling Restless' with energetic pop punk music added with rap spices. The process was about 1 month.

The enjoyment we got during the production of this first single was when all personnel could help each other and provide creative ideas in this music part as well as the challenges that were so great when we had to make different music to get out of the comfort zone of the pop punk genre in general.

Our musical references are from Western and local, but in the end, we ended up referencing Machine Gun Kelly's music. In the future, it is possible that our musical references will vary.
