Interviews: Inside The Hole

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Rock band Inside The Hole from Italy. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, did you plan it or come out just like that?

The band name was chosen after brainstorming with the other guys in the band. We focused on the way in which human beings live in society: their role, their status, and their way of living in it and we thought that each of us stays Into a hole that represents the way of reaching happiness. Also Inside The Hole could be translated through the myth of life: we were born from The Hole (maternity) and we will finish in a hole after passing away.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Rock and roll it’s the best way to express our thoughts through Music. The genre chooses us consequently we reply in this way.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Actually not, but after we met each other and started to play together we grew up as a band and friends.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

It’s difficult to say just one name for each. Of course, our proper musical influences have been important for making our own music. What you can listen to in our new album “The Rotten Side” it’s the result of it.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Life. I mean, all experiences and how they can be filtered by our mind and our feelings, also what happens in the world, especially the bad things, it's a great inspiration. We try to fight them through our music.

6. Where was your last gig?

We played at Invidia Rock 2024. A cool festival in Mazara del Vallo, a nice city in Sicily in the south of Italy.

7. Where would you like to act?

In every place where it's possible to feel the soul of rock n roll. Of course, We’d like to play in the big open-air festival and in the important live clubs around the globe too.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Good question. There are lots of bands and artists wherewith We’d like to share the stage and do some featuring. Actually, many of them passed away, but if I have to say some names, probably ZZ Top, AC/DC, Airbourne, and Zakk Wylde would be cool.

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?

Right now, before every concert, there is a little bit of frightness that before acting becomes adrenaline. For beginners, I suggest enjoying the moment and feeling the good vibes of live music instead. No fear, just adrenaline.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Every artist and every music we listen to has a powerful punch on our way to embrace the music, in order to express ourselves throughout it. Personally, there are lots of names: Rory Gallagher, Motorhead, Iron Maiden, and ZZ Top. And I'm sure that my bandmates would add other many bands. Our musical influences are different in how you can catch them while listening to our new album “The Rotten Side”.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Nothing to say.

13. What do you think of your fans?

They are the best ‘cause they still support us after a long time and We are grateful to them.

14. What do you think of our site?

We like your site and your work about the promotion of music, and especially to give exposure to bands like Inside The Hole.
