Band Biographies: Firemage

Firemage are an epic folk metal band founded in 2019, hailing from Porto, Portugal.This gathering of established musicians from the portuguese underground scene (Moonshade, Xeque-Mate) aims to be the new face of celtic/medieval fantasy-inspired folk metal. Their goal is to embody the atmosphere of the fantastical and the superstitious through tales of merry, magic, and mayhem, heavily charged with influences from lusitanian folklore. After releasing a few demos, the band will soon make its debut via their first EP. Titled Ignis, this self-release will be the first half of the band's debut album, which is already in the production stage.
