“The Rolling And The Thunder” dives deep into themes of corruption, greed, and the unstoppable force of power. I wanted the video to visually reflect this, creating a dark, chaotic world where the lines between morality and corruption are constantly blurred. The challenge was to make the animation feel just as intense and raw as our music. The idea was to create a narrative that mirrored the song’s lyrics, showing a world filled with shadowy figures, corrupt leaders, and a constant sense of impending doom. Each scene had to feel like it was charged with electricity, like the storm was brewing just out of frame.

The concept revolves around a powerful figure, our "Curator", manipulating everything around him, much like a puppet master pulling strings in the dark. Each frame was meticulously crafted to capture the mood - dark, gritty, and unrelenting. The animation style is deliberately rough to mimic the chaotic energy of the song. I wanted the viewer to feel the tension and unease, as if they were inside this world of “future paintings for a worldwide gallery.”

The characters in the video are representations of the greed and corruption that the song rails against. From faceless judges to evil politicians, each character is designed to reflect the darker side of human nature. Animating these scenes was like putting together a twisted puzzle - how do you show the soul being sold without saying a word?

The storm effects play a huge role in setting the tone. Lightning bolts flash across the screen, illuminating moments of greed and deception. The storm isn’t just a backdrop - it’s an active force, echoing the song’s lyrics about ignoring danger signs and pressing on regardless of the consequences.

Creating this video was an intense experience. It’s one thing to hear the music, but seeing it come to life in animation was like watching a storm unfold before your eyes. “The Rolling And The Thunder” isn’t just about heavy riffs and pounding drums - it’s about the thunderous impact of power unchecked, and the chaos that follows.
