Interviews: WORN OUT

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Hardcore band WORN OUT from Ireland. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you plan it or come out just like that?

It was the original guitarist Isaac who came up with the name, he had a few different names but Worn Out stood out from the rest.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

We’re all into heavy music so why not.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

I only knew of the drummer Evan before the band was formed from going to gigs.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

I’m not sure about the lads but my favourite band is Nine Inch Nails.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

I get inspiration from my own experiences.

6. Where was your last gig?

The Grand Social in Dublin, unreal venue, unreal sound.

7. Where would you like to act?

I’d love to be playing festivals, that’s next.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Kendrick Lamar

9. Whom not?

Drake

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?

Nah never, people are coming to see the band, not to take the piss out of you. Imagine everyone is in their jocks.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Pantera, Converge, Every Time I Die

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

A fan asked me for a video of me singing Happy Birthday to him, not screaming but singing. I didn’t do it.
