Track By Tracks: The Blast Waves - Ωmega-Drive (2024)
1. Megadrive:
An ode to the Sega Megadrive, between Hard Rock and Heavy Metal, which then moves on to Thrash, groovy, psychedelic harmonizations.
2. (U.F.O) Tales From Outer Space:
A song about Aliens coming and infiltrating our planet over a groovy rhythm ending in a punk/thrash style on a shred-style solo.
3. Cut Throat Boogie:
Groovy/thrashy, it's about a lone cowboy in the US West who finds himself in the middle of a saloon where people go completely mad after hearing a Ragtime tune. It seems to be the only trace we have of this story...
4. Devil Lived:
Synths, retro heavy metal riffs, harmonizations that speak of depression just before the act.
5. Men Have Long Hair:
Glam and Hard Rock Retro about the 80s and all the fantasy we think about that era.
6. Rock Heaven:
Hard Rock, is the band's first song about a rock paradise, where the grass is green, and if you're not feeling well, remember this chorus...
7. Savage:
Hard Rock/Heavy Metal, is about a crazy guy who has beers with alligators and then shoots his long-time best friend.
8. One Night At Sue's:
Glam/Hard Rock is about a pretty lady who's not shy but completely crazy.
9. The Blast Wave:
Heavy Metal/Hard Rock, a song about us, a song that encourages you to join us, to be like us, to headbang to the riffs that get you going, and not give a damn about what people think of you, just be yourself!
10. Atomic Lady:
Har Rock à la Van Halen, is this song about the nuclear threat? Maybe hehe...
