Hotly tipped Brit four-piece, COBER MOUTH, dropped their new EP, Untethered, out on Friday 6th September. The diverse metalcorers are already turning heads and pricking ears. With this in mind, we exclusively spoke to the band and asked them to give us this track-by-track breakdown of their new EP:

1. “Untethered:

Untethered captures 17 years of pain and perseverance in under 2 minutes. Opening with the sounds of a claustrophobic, rat-infested closet, the track delves into the fight for survival, with lyrics reflecting life's unplanned battles, often fought in darkness as we pursue strength- becoming confident enough to take on our adversaries.

2. All, I Created:

A raw narrative of struggle, All, I Created is a retrospective of divorces and broken homes. The song traverses the themes of suffering, lost love, and the quest for meaning amidst chaos, providing a deeply emotional and cathartic musical journey for listeners.

3. They’re Only There For Their Food and Then They’re There For Their Food:

A brutal and powerful commentary on human behavior and societal pressures. With intense lyrics and an unfiltered yet cryptic look at personal struggles, this track is a bold statement on honesty and survival in a world driven by self-interest.
