Behind The Artworks: Necht - The Prophecy Of Karnifor (2024)

In terms of the cover image, this depicts the desiccated remains of one of the Qa’ars of Ishpan within the burial chambers of the city. Following the Prophecy of Karnifor, the death rituals of Ishpan changed such that each successive Qa’ar, on reaching the natural end of their life, would meditate in repose, taking neither food nor water, until they simply died where they sat. There, they would stay to await the coming of Karnifor.
