In this new interview, we sat down with the Italian Metal band Mustang Nº5 to ask questions about their album, "Porco Mondo".

1. What can you say about this new EP/CD?

The album features 11 original songs, all influenced by various musical genres, spanning from soft pop rock to harder-edged sounds.

2. What is the meaning of the EP/CD name?

The album title “Porco Mondo” is an exclamation that we literally translate with “Pig World”. It won't

That aims to reflect that melting pot of emotions experienced from 2020 onwards.

3. Which one is the composer of the CD/EP?

The singer, Puccio, wrote the lyrics and music for the album, while the band members, Danilo, Dario, Giuseppe, and Marco, composed the arrangements.

4. If you had to pick one song, which one would you pick?

“Bingo bingo Santiago”.

The song paints a portrait of a man and his dismal day. Evening finds him in a bar, where he discovers his pockets are empty. His bartender friend, with a kind heart, offers him a drink and a smoke. The man, touched by this unexpected generosity, utters, 'Bingo, bingo Santiago' after his first sip of Negroni. This small act of kindness brought a smile to his face, brightening his spirits.

5. Is there a special message in this EP/CD? If there is what it is?

The message is to never give up, despite the various obstacles that life puts in our way. Music is a universal language that unites people. Let's use it to spread harmony and mutual understanding.

6. Are there some lyrics that you'd love to share?

The lyric we want to share with you is “Solo ma vivo” which we have made a literal translation for you.

7. Which inspirations have been important for this album? Like musically or friends, family, someone you'd love to thank especially?

Certainly one of the greatest inspirations was a sorrowful event that happened to the singer.
