Track By Tracks: Corpsefucking Art - Tomatized (2024)

1. Tomatized:

The first song is the representative track of what was described above, taking inspiration from Skynet and the Terminator saga, a film that has always been part of our creative imagination. Mr. Daisy is immersed in this dream and still does not realize that in reality it is only the fruit of his imagination, the sick imagination of a psychopath. He imagines a world where man is subjugated and annihilated by a race of giant cyclopean tomatoes. Mr. Daisy is the leader of the resistance, in the city of Alpha City, but he is only the last bastion of human resistance, defeat is imminent.

2. Hell Of The Living Dead:

The song is inspired by the movie by Bruno Mattei, among the many titles that this film has, Virus I think is the most known. Here an experiment on mysterious berries is described in a secret laboratory, but something goes wrong and this mistake marks the beginning of our nightmare, a hell on earth.

3. Blood Kitchen Garden:

In this song, we took inspiration from the movie Blood Beach, an American horror movie from 1981, where they basically talk about the catastrophic experiments carried out by the scientists mentioned in the previous song. By reactivating the cells of these spores after centuries of stasis, the experiment went out of control and caused this exponential growth of tomatoes, which became giants, monstrous creatures that began to infest human bodies, causing the beginning of a catastrophe.

4. Alien vs. Tomator:

The fourth song is a free interpretation of Alien vs. Predator, where the real aliens are us earthlings. Here the alien spore is described, as a very powerful biological weapon. We will discover where it comes from, who created it, and its ability to destroy entire planets. The Earth is unprepared for such an attack, will the planet-eating spores destroy the Earth too?

5. A Nightmare On Tomato Street:

The fifth song is inspired by the first movie of the Nightmare saga, explaining the doubts in Mr. Daisy's mind, who hopes that the coming of these spores to earth is really a nightmare and that if he solves this problem he will be able to write a beautiful movie script.

6. The Book Of The Dead:

The sixth song is inspired by the first movie of the saga of Mr. Ash, Evil Dead (Sam Raimi - 1981). It is hypothesized that the famous mountain chalet is the last outpost of the human resistance against the cyclopean tomatoes. We come to discover that in the past, terrestrial scientists had managed to cryogenically freeze the spores, but now they have been awakened. There is a book written in blood, which holds the secret to destroy them once and for all, and the famous tome, which has not yet been completely deciphered, is found in the chalet. There is still hope for the human race, to definitively seal evil.

7. Dead sushi:

The seventh song is inspired by a crazy Japanese movie, where food is the real killer lurking against man. Mr. Daisy finds himself in a situation that he doesn't fully understand, really strange and sudden things happen, he understands that there is something wrong in his mind, but too often he finds himself in strange places, where absurd things happen. Are we in a dream?

8. Phantasm:

The eighth song is inspired by the 1979 movie of the same name, Mr. Daisy has confirmation that things are happening outside of his control. He is continuously thrown into various realities, and his brain is in complete confusion. Now he finds himself in a mausoleum, where among the long marble corridors he feels a disturbing presence, someone is approaching with his noisy footsteps. Mr. Daisy feels lost, balanced between the real world and the dream world.

9. Escape from Alpha City:

The ninth song concludes the story described in this album as if it were a serialized TV series, a season of a television series. Mr. Daisy wakes up in a mental asylum, tied to a bed, he understands that it was all the fruit of his sick mind. He understands that he is a person who has been isolated from society and that he does not like reality, he prefers to live with his monsters, in the dream world, where he can still meet his deceased father.

The album follows a common thread, the music was created to be direct and without frills. We are inspired by cinema, by the art that surrounds us, by the music we listen to, as it happened for the other five albums. Our music is born inside us, when we are ready to bring out our ideas, with our language we create a new album, a plot that follows its natural course.
This record is dedicated to my Father. R.I.P.
