Behind The Artworks: Maatkare - Rise To Power (2024)

The Rise To Power album artwork is a portrayal of our interpretation of Maatkare, Pharaoh Hatshepsut. We’ve created some cinematic digital artwork for our previous singles to paint a narrative of each song, but for the album, we wanted to focus on a powerful female figure in a headshot, capturing her strength, determination, and regal presence. It symbolizes Hatshepsut’s defiance of gender norms and her legacy as one of Egypt’s most formidable rulers, aligning perfectly with the themes of empowerment throughout the album.
