Interviews About Albums: Cloven - Twilight's Heart (2024)
In this new interview, we sat down with the Canadian Black Metal band Cloven to ask questions about their album, "Twilight's Heart".
1. What can you say about this new EP/CD?
Twilight's Heart is the best I have to offer. It is quite dark, but I sincerely hope it is a healing experience.
2. What is the meaning of the EP/CD name?
It is named after the sigil in its artwork. It's quite a long story... A light standing in the darkness, meaning standing in
chaos.
3. Which one is the composer of the CD/EP?
This one was just me (Dave)
4. If you had to pick one song, which one would you pick?
Twilight's Heart
5. Is there a special message in this EP/CD? If there is what it is?
I'm sure there is, but I am not exactly aware of it.
6. Are there some lyrics that you'd love to share?
I'm a bit fond of these:
"Wrapped in talons
Voices howl in knots
The holy name of putrefaction
The architect of loss"
7. Which inspirations have been important for this album? Like musically or friends, family, someone
you'd love to thank especially?
I would like to thank everyone.
8. Something to add?
Thanks for the time of day.
