Track By Tracks: Grave Next Door - Sorry No Candy (2024)

1. Bulldog .44:

It’s about Son Of Sam and the theory that it was much bigger than just him. That there were many “Son’s of Sam.” There was a powerful cult behind it and piss poor police work. I posted about this cult that isn’t supposed to exist anymore on social media and was contacted by a staunch appolgestist of theirs. It was really weird, Charles Manson was also affiliated with them as well.

2. Judgement:

This song is about being judged and labeled for something you have done in the past and sticking with you and that incident becoming everyone’s perception of you. It can be family, friends, co-workers, or society. Artwork by Steven Yoyada A man is dragging another man up the steps of a Mayan temple for execution.

3. Sativa Bomb” Weed:

Artwork by Steven Yoyada three flaming green skulls descending from the sky.

4. No Suprise:

Our drummer Patrick was really sick with a fever as he was in stage five kidney failure. He saw himself standing on a beach as the last man on earth in a new healthy body as a storm with humongous waves crashed upon the beach. In the dream, he felt one with the earth the sea, and the sky. Patrick, still in a fever state woke up, penned the lyrics, and went to the emergency room where he was put on dialysis. He was told he was three days from death.

5. Blood Moon Hymn:

This song is about fall, the harvest season, people, produce, and wheat are all the same. We all have our time when we are harvested. The bright sunshine and warm weather give way to the gloom and cold of fall. A friend of one of our bandmates died during the blood moon. He was harvested. As we write this another friend died yesterday, another soul harvested by the reaper. The artwork is Raven with the moon in the background. By Steven Yoyada very dark.

6. White Room cover by Cream

We love this song! The artwork for the single is a nod to Clockwork Orange.

7. Dead Soul Eyes:

A song about a killer that one of our bandmates came face to face with. His eyes were the most evil and chilling thing that our bandmate had ever confronted. His presence exuded pure evil.

8. Solitary Cell:

About being trapped in not only a physical cell, but a mental, and situational prison where you can’t get out and loneliness is the order of the day.
