Band Biographies: No Kings Allowed

Known for pushing the edges of metal, this six-piece band from the Netherlands and Belgium isn’t just sticking to one style this time. They’ve taken metalcore, thrown in brutal deathcore breakdowns, hardcore energy, haunting opera-style vocals, and even a heartfelt ballad, creating something that’s way more than just a metalcore album.

The band’s lineup is stronger than ever, with White joining on clean vocals and Orange on drums, adding fresh depth and layers to the group’s sound. A New Era brings a killer mix, featuring three vocalists on some tracks to give the music even more power and dimension. Each song dives into themes like fate, personal battles, and finding strength within ourselves. With tracks like “Violence” and “Laws of Extinction,” the band leans into some of their heaviest material yet, while songs like “Lion Eyes” bring hardcore energy that makes you want to move. Then there’s the title song ‘’A New Era’’ and ‘’At Every End’’—a softer moment on the album that shows the band’s emotional side without losing their grit.

The entire album is self-made—produced, recorded, mixed, and mastered by the band themselves. No Kings Allowed wanted the sound to be raw and real, capturing their vision within the music. The lyrics hit hard, too. Songs like “Enemy Within” and “Stand Up” explore tough themes around personal and social battles, with messages of unity and resilience coming through each verse and breakdown.

No Kings Allowed has already booked their first live shows for 2024/2025, so fans won’t have to wait long to experience A New Era live. Follow them on social media for dates and updates, and prepare to join them on this journey as they launch this intense new album.
