Behind The Artworks: Ultimate Satan - The Opus Satanas (2024)
The album art for Project: Ultimate Satan’s The Opus Satanas is made up of many in-depth
concepts, blending a mix of eldritch horrors and anti-abrahamic sigilism.
The Logo and Eldritch Crest were crafted by Wappenschmied.
These were created to confer iconic visions that blend eldritch (specifically Cthulhu-esque)
visuals with anti-xtian symbols such as inverted crosses and pentagrams. These designs
showcase the gravitas, iconography and thematic elements of the music to create easily
recognisable symbolIsm.
Main Album Art by Ben Wrigley from Third Eye Visuals.
The main album art is a series of four commissioned pieces, consisting of mixed models
composed in Blender 3D.
Artwork 1: The Opus Satanas
The composition consists of Lucifer’s skulls, wings, crown and halo on an altar with blood soaked
white roses. Placed on a pile of gold covered human skulls and adorned with our Omega Satan
sigil.
As you look closer you may notice that Lucifer's skulls have been pieced back together and
repaired with gold. In Japan this is called Kintsugi and is a metaphor for embracing imperfections
and finding beauty in brokenness.
It reminds us that life's challenges and setbacks do not diminish our worth but rather add depth and
character to our journey. The white roses represent purity and the blood represents personal
sacrifice.
Artwork 2: Malleus Maleficarum (Movement I)
Consisting of a wreath of human skulls with the aforementioned blood soaked white roses. The
piece represents the death of human frailties - revenge, hatred, anger, fear and lust.
Artwork 3: Lex Talionis (Movement II)
The piece consists of a wreath with a kintsugi Goat Skull and represents the final form of Satan
(the full embodiment of the self). In this piece the roses can no longer be perceived as white as
they are so soaked in blood representing the depths and vicissitudes of the sacrifice.
Artwork 4: Ascendance
The rear of the album you will find the fourth and final piece. Featuring another wreath, this time
however there is no blood, it is fully gilded, with a singular human skull adorned with golden demon
horns representing spiritual growth and satanic ascendance.
The Cthulhu Baphomet by Agus Zoer of Zoer Project
It is a fantastic blend of eldritch and satanic imagery, aligning well with what our
interpretation of what angels and demons would look like. The term “biblically-accurate angels”,
so closely resembles that of cosmic horrors, that one could go as far to believe that HP
Lovecraft may have been a prophet harkened by beings beyond human comprehension.
We also have the album's lyric breakdown available so if you would like to learn more about our
band and lyrics check it out. Get yourself a copy of the album or come to a show, we love to
meet like minded people. If you can’t make it to a show you could always reach out to our
socials. I/we read every comment. You’ll just have to excuse the haters and trolls. Haters gonna
hate and Trolls are gonna troll.

This is gayer than Richard Simmons' cock painted like a rainbow flag.
