Interviews: Grave With A View

On this new occasion, we had the opportunity to interview the Black Metal band Grave With A View from Finland. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you plan it or come out just like that?

It's the name of a Darkthrone song off of Soulside Journey, we're both big fans so it's our little "tribute" in a way, and the aura around that name and what WE feel it represents just spoke to us.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Can't say, naturally just gravitated towards this type of expression.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed? 

Yes and no.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

Too many to list.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

A life lived in a certain way, for better or for worse.

6. Where was your last gig?

"Meara klubi" here in Finland

7. Where would you like to act?

If you mean to play a show, the rest of Europe outside of Finland would be nice. But no preference, honestly.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

We'll gladly share a stage with all BM bands that stand behind the values and extreme expression that Black Metal is or at least, SHOULD be rooted in.

9. Whom not?

Take the exact opposite of the answer to the previous question.

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?

No, can't really comment on that.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Too many to list.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Can't print that.

13. What do you think of your fans?

We appreciate everyone who gets something out of our expression and supports Black Metal.

Appreciate you covering underground artists.
