Track By Tracks: The Dead Flowers Graves - Elemento (2024)

ELEMENT is primordial, starting from the smallest material/immaterial existing form up to the largest. It starts from the atom. It's everywhere. It's neutral. It means rudimentary, principle. It is a return to the beginning to move forward. It is a tribute to the elements that make up a whole, a group, it is a reverberation of us that is carried outside. It is a tribute to the elements in the lyrics, they are the ones who gave us the inspiration for everything we have generated here, through music, with our third element.

1. BEHIND THE VOID:

Walking in the open countryside you could listen to silently footsteps behind you. There is something in the air. It’s about the void that speaks, fields cultivated by man, where in the past people have passed, there have been wars, blood, mistrust, violence, fatigue, tears, and pain. The earth is tired of suffering all this, it no longer loves people who pass by with indifference, invading the territory and the soul of places. The presence behind is heavy and angry, they send guardian animals to observe, such as crows. The masculine of the earth defends the violated feminine. The plow blades continue to cut and penetrate. The poisons continue to permeate. Then the insects rebel. Weather events do not forgive. But the human being does not understand, selfish and manipulative, ungrateful. The monsters created in silence are the people who live in these places. They absorb what the earth opens with the wind, with the fog, with the humidity. They live in that physical dimension from several ago or more, inside their soul they carry phantom imprints of many lives. Young people look like old. Wary of foreigners. They watch you from afar, making sure you don't see them, behind the window curtains. Sometimes they come out annoyed. But silently. It recalls the law of the strongest, the most cunning.

It takes inspiration from an ancient practice where wasps were locked up inside a vase. Who stings more with its poison, will survive. Perhaps years before Christ in some lands, this law was in force. It is necessary to die to be reborn. And After Death, the Temperance Comes. It's an allusion to tarot cards. Inspired by locations: Terzo Bacino/ Modeano (Fortino area) Friuli – Sant'Erasmo island (Venice) Italy

2. BONES OF THE MOTHER:

The history of the world is written in the stones. At the bottom of the sea. In a wood. Underground.

The most beautiful form of writing is spiral, it is found in ammonites. Stored inside the stones.

The ammonite operating system is the mechanism by which a submarine moves.
Everything that man created comes from nature. It was all already written before.
The stones are the bone system of the earth, the hidden backbone. They smell of damp, of musk, you find them set in the ground like tiny, rough eyes. We imagine them sitting in a circle on a velvet lawn, singing the history of the world, everyone with their own testimony.

3. THROUGH THE DOORS:

Time is the most complicated and highest thing in the universe, together with love. Janus. The perception. Chrono. The measure. Kairos. The quality. Spirituality and science. Time flows in and out of white holes. It is different from the inside and outside. It becomes thinner and longer. It's illusory. Like the future and the past. It's the reverse. Difficult to understand but fascinating to perceive. The space-time lines are infinite, they branch but can repeat themselves. They come back. In this life or in other lives. In this universe or others. The horizon line is far away. Illusory, it seems that time slows down over there but it does not. The pendulum swings. The rhythm oscillates between dreaming and waking. The recurring dream is rooms full of pendulum clocks, the passage from one room to another changes the size. Sometimes the lyric of this song is a play with words that are repeated twice and take up the concept of pendulum and speed of time. We are always within a duality.

4. AS THE FLAME BURNS:

The first part is an introduction, a sort of ritual, you are at the entrance to a portal that leads you into a place made up of the oldest and most advanced living forms on earth. Before entering a forest it is like entering a house. You must ask permission and be announced. The verses of this ritual were channeled while watching wood burn, observing the sinuous movements that fire, wood, air, and ether were creating. When wood burns, it releases wisdom, what is contained in that tree. Trees have family ties, they have parents, the elderly, who transmit information to young individuals through roots and branches. Many trees are burned because it is their destiny, the ashes transform. The wolf is the element that brings balance to a forest, and regulates the food chain and ecosystems. Where the wolf is, the forest thrives. Wood is linked to dowsing (the divine scepter). Living forms such as deva spirits, fairies, and elementals are connected with the tree and regulate its functions. If a tree is cut down without asking/warning the deva, he will be traumatized, he will be wandering sick without strength in the woods. If you enter the forest with respect, the little people (elementals, fairies) will thank you. Wood and fire form an alchemy. The text is a hymn to raise awareness and open up to the invisible and to reconnect with them, for too long these bonds between being human and nature have been shattered and lost.
