Behind The Artworks: Harmonize Oracle - Before The Oracle (2024)

Giannis Nakos of Remedy Art Design is the brilliant artist behind our brand-new logo and the Harmonize Oracle Emblem. This is the second time we’ve collaborated with Giannis, following the incredible results he delivered for our first album’s artwork. The logo’s sharp but certain lines and its three-dimensional effect express perfectly the new era of the band, and we couldn’t be happier with Giannis.

For our EP, we experimented controversially with AI as we wished to bring anonymity through the artwork and produce our own ideas with the use of digital art and AI software. George produced a chaotic battle scene for our cover, with, seemingly, our story’s protagonist in center frame. The chaos is meant to represent the amalgamation of different genres and memories throughout our journey from the earlier years to the latest before our rebrand as Harmonize Oracle. With its warm colors, dynamic figures, and iconic swords, it captures the essence of ancient epic wars.

This imagery aligns perfectly with the tracks on the EP and our overarching epic fantasy concept. We proceeded to craft an image for each track in the booklet, evoking specific elements. For instance an image with cold and harsh colors for Chained Spirit, the presence of the divine feminine for Phoenix, the spirit of the wolf for Crawling Among Shadows, and the dark yet warm battle scenes for Shield Wall and Another Holy War.
