Behind The Artworks: RESIDUAL SELF - RESEED (2024)

The front cover features one of my very gorgeous modeling friends, I approached her with this concept, based around our song "Magdalene's Whore House" where I wanted to have a very risque and lewd approach, with her wearing a crown. I wanted to give off a darker spin on the Christian-Renaissance styled painting. The back cover is intended to also give the Christian-Renaissance vibe, with a "Fallen Christ" narrative. Hence I am wearing what is seen as an inverse of Christ's traditional attire. I wear a red robe with a white sash, as opposed to the traditional white robe and red sash. With the intention of RESEED, you will notice there's an aura around her stomach and both Rex's hands and hers. This is to imply that "Christ" has penetrated Magdalene (a well known Whore), and that powerful seed will eventually lead to great things... for better or worse. This theme carries over into the booklet and CD art with the Shrine Maidens. who are on a mission to prevent this seed from (as they prophesize) wreaking havoc until the end of days. These maidens intend to cut him down and destroy his powerful seed. But, can they overcome their own lust in order to make it happen?
