Track By Tracks: Final Siege - Nuclear Doom State (2024)
1. The Day After...:
It’s our first crack at an instrumental and we wanted to create a visual of
what the end of the world would look like. What happens when the chains are broken and
countries are pitted against each other in the name of their governments. A final battle to
determine the true conqueror of the world.
2. W.A.R.:
The concept behind this song is a sort of awakening for all marginalized people
throughout the world. This song tries to shed light on all of the control that the ruling
classes have by pitting everyone against each other through racist, political, or religious
propaganda. We tend to miss the bigger picture by being distracted with nonsensical
entertainment that is controlled by social media giants that serve only the rich and pit the
poor and middle classes against each other through fearmongering. Each letter in W.A.R.
has a specific meaning which is Wreckage, Arson, Revenge.
3. Nuclear Doom State:
The title track of the album talks about the fragile state of the world
today. It serves as sort of a premonition to what a select number of “leaders” have the
capability of doing by giving the order to simply end the world by a single command.
Nuclear Doom State tries to paint a picture of what that will look like if we move closer to
“midnight”.
4. Psychological Maceration:
This song strictly talks about the mental state of someone
who is stuck inside of a prison whether it be physically or emotionally. Initially, when the
lyrics were written it focused more on the physical aspect through the ancient act of
Immurement which translates to “walling in”. The subject was encased in a confined wall
and left for dead. However, after rereading the lyrics we felt that it can be interpreted by the
listener as also being stuck in a mental cage.
5. An Insatiable Lust For Violence:
The lyrical theme behind this song is about an individual
who is simply infatuated with the concept of violence. Whether it be criminally or through
war this person simply cannot live without causing some type of physical pain. They take
pride in the fact that they are a master at killing living beings in mass.
6. Primordial Combat:
Think of what life was like during prehistoric times. The overall theme
of this song is to imagine what human beings did to survive through the times of the
dinosaurs and great beasts. It’s meant to awaken that inner animal that we’ve tucked away
in today’s society due to the technological advances we’ve made through generations. The
concept came to be after watching the anime Baki Hanma which saw a Neanderthal come
to life after it was unfrozen. The description of the caveman really stuck out in a certain
episode that ultimately created the lyrical concept behind the song.
7. Taxed To Death:
Simply put we’re all tired of the absorbent amount of money that gets
taken out of our paycheck. Most people all around the world either live in poverty or are one
accident away from being homeless with no help from their respective governments. The
United States is especially guilty of this act towards all of its citizens but will use certain
tactics to either distract its people or brainwash them into thinking that outside factors are
why we pay so much every week or every two weeks. Taxed To Death was written for the
people who work 2 or 3 jobs, 80 plus hours a week just to get by, while corporations sit back
and get all the tax breaks, bailouts, and profits.
