Behind The Artworks: Liva - Ecce Mundus (2023)

I think it’s one of the most difficult part of an album. Ecce mundus talks about the glory of Rome, the story of Samson and Dalila, and human flaws such as greed, corruption and hypocrisy, the same from ancient times to the present day. I wanted a mix between ancient Rome and the story of Samson & Dalila. I wanted to find a way for the image to be original, with an antique texture and custom-made. I wanted the cover to express one of the most important texts of the album: Samson & Dalila, but without telling the story too clearly. I worked on this with my brother-in-law, because he's good at drawing. I think we got it right! For the interior, I wanted to evoke ancient Rome even more. I even included a photo of a door I took myself in Rome. Still inside, I wanted to put our superb photo of the band, which I think is exceptional.
