Interviews: Flyofchange

On this new occasion, we had the opportunity to interview the Nu-Metal/Grunge artist Flyofchange from Sweden. Check out the interview and follow the artist on his FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you plan it or come out just like that?

The band name was inspired by the song "Change (in the house of flies)" by the band Deftones.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

I think it just came naturally. What came out of me as a songwriter and producer. I've always loved styles like grunge and nu-metal. The heaviness and emotion of it.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

I am actually a solo artist at the moment. I write, record, and produce myself.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

My favorite band would have to be Korn. But I have so many favorites!

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

I draw inspiration from my own life, music, art, and nature.

6. Where was your last gig?

Have not had a gig yet with this Flyofchange project. But the plan is to start playing live at some point in the future.

7. Where would you like to act?

UK, EU, or north/South America would be really great.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Morgan Lander from Kittie.

9. Whom not?

Most pop artists.

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?

No, not really. It's natural to be a little nervous sometimes, I think, but you usually calm down after the first songs on the set.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

I would have to pick Korn, Deftones, The Smashing Pumpkins and The Queen Of The Damned soundtrack actually.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

I was asked to be interviewed by my fan but he wanted me to impersonate another specific artist. That was kind of an odd request, but also funny.

13. What do you think of your fans?

I think they are great. A lot of them are extra supportive, which is very appreciated by independent artists like me.

14. What do you think of our site?

I think it looks really nice and solid.

15. Something to add?

Yes. Thanks for the interesting questions and keep on doing a great job!
