Behind The Scenes: CHÜZO - Bruised & Broken (Official Video)

Part 1; these were b-roll footage recordings of the band playing live during the year 2024 in Montreal, Toronto and Ottawa. This footage was filmed by fans and by ourselves. It shows how we deliver our performance live as well as some chaotic mosh pit moments.

 

And part 2; these were images that were recorded by ourselves at a "rage cage" room. This was a great idea by Mischa, she made the reservations. It served as a bonding experience among the band members. It was a very fun and cathartic experience. Very much in tune with what the song is about.

 

And taking into consideration that the song "Bruised and Broken" is about being instigated and provoked to the point of no return; letting the bottled up inner rage inside boil over and the inevitable consequences that awaits the fool who dared to provoke and instigate in the first place; gets his well deserved reward and punishment; demonstrating the violence that would come in the "rage cage" made perfect sense for this video. Seeing the band pretty much destroy random objects, getting their anger off by wrecking and breaking stuff, and blending these images with images of us delivering our set live is an appropriate amalgam of visuals to demonstrate who we are and why we make "Aggro-Metal", as well as, showcase the "controlled violence" that we're capable of doing.

 

All the editing credit goes to Carlos, our multi talented drummer, as well as Mischa for encouraging us to go to the rage cage and let off some steam.

 

A very much recommended experience for bands who feel that they need to bond over some destruction and chaos after the rehearsal jam.
