Georgi Valentine Ivanov (Vocalist): I wanted to use the lyrics to shine a light on the darker side of emotion, the way we sometimes want to flirt with self-destruction and that temptation to fall from grace. It's darker than some of the other stuff we've written but it was fun to explore a new sound and get even heavier, both musically and lyrically - because the world gets too much sometimes, and you think something has to break.
