Band Biographies: Phase

Phase are a Post Punk band based in Newcastle upon Tyne, known for their atmospheric sound and evocative songwriting. They debuted with their single Perdition, released as part of Microsoft’s Playlist Seven campaign for Windows 7. This was followed by two full-length albums; In Consequence and The Wait.

 

The band have received airplay on various ratio stations including BBC Radio 6 Music by esteemed DJ Tom Robinson and featured in Billboard, where they reached #42 on the 'Uncharted', and #12 on the 'Fastest Rising Act' charts.

 

Phase has played in some of the most unexpected corners of the world, including Syria, where they are believed to be only the second international rock act (after the Gorillaz) to ever perform there.

 

They’ve performed alongside renowned artists within their niche such as Anneke van Giersbergen, Danny Cavanagh (Anathema), Sivert Høyem (Madrugada), Jeff Martin (The Tea Party), and The Twilight Sad, some of whom have left an imprint on their evolving sound.

 

Currently, Phase is working towards the release of their highly anticipated third album.
