Behind The Artworks: Cursed Bloodlines - Virulent (2025)

The cover art shows people consumed in a caustic fog, which is causing them to sort of dissolve or "melt". The inspiration comes from the theme of the album as well as an expressionist painting done by a former band member's wife. My intention was to portray a mood and capture the violent, hopeless nature that comes from the collective fear of humanity caused by the notion of the world ending and package it in a visual representation of the song. I took all things toxic, noxious and vitriolic in the universe and in humanity itself and distilled it down into an acidic fog.
