Behind The Tracks: Glitchkill - Reign In Spite (Single) (2025)

The latest release from the GK camp, as well as our first release of 2025, "Reign in Spite" came from the creation of that hypnotic melody by Travis Miller which quickly became the opening for the song ( It had the vibe of like a ticking clock, counting down of minutes til detonation) David (Crusher)Yanez and Aaron Jones brought the thunderous groove and percussion that felt like footsteps of a giant approaching, that moment in kaiju films when the monster emerges from out of nowhere, inflicting devastation everywhere it goes, often by merely existing...there was alot to relate to with that approach.

 

It ended up a declaration against naysayers, trolls, anyone who gets in your way maliciously or straight pisses on every moment. Stand up against those who believe they have any power over your life, rise up, channel that inner radioactive beast,that toxic self that created so much of the chaos,take control and make it work for you.

 

Only then, will you Reign In Spite.
