Interviews About Albums: Incineration In The Infinite - Serpent's Tongue (2025)
In this new interview, we sat down with the American Blackened Doom Metal band Incineration In The Infinite to ask questions about their album, "Serpent's Tongue".
1. What can you say about this new EP/CD?
This EP is my first work I did for the Incineration in the Infinite project. It was originally meant to be a few sketches to reach out to fellow musicians and artists with, but the project ended up being a second outlet for my solo adventures. The purpose of having two solo projects is to focus my energy on two completely different approaches creatively. In Fragmentary Solid Abyss I feel free to make what I feel is anything that falls into the Black Metal arena, however, Incineration in the Infinite is more limited in its musical landscapes and is restrained to its most simplistic foundation.
2. What is the meaning of the EP/CD name?
In Biblical Hebrew, the way to say language is to literally say tongue, similar in English how one might refer to their mother-tongue. Serpent’s Tongue is meant to direct one’s attention to the dark arts.
3. Which one is the composer of the CD/EP?
The artwork was done by Giancarlo Melgar @giancarlomelgarn, and all the music is by Ömer Doğramacı.
4. If you had to pick one song, which one would you pick?
I would pick the first song from the EP because it sets the tone for the whole project.
5. Is there a special message in this EP/CD? If there is what it is?
The message of this EP is expression through simplicity.
6. Are there some lyrics that you'd love to share?
The vocals were improvised on the spot, and what was said was forgotten.
7. Which inspirations have been important for this album? Like musically or friends, family, someone you'd love to thank specially?
The main inspiration for this music is Black Sabbath.
8. Something to add?
I would like to thank everyone who has supported and shown interest in this music.
