Track By Tracks: Bright Ophidia - Quiet And Calm (2025)
1. Anger:
Tells about transformation (inspired by F. Kafka's story "The Metamorphosis"), striving for the moment when we are ready for it, about the difficult process of transforming ourselves, often at the cost of breaking away from what was.
2. Survive
The motif of survival in a digital world in which the only solution is symbiosis with a machine. Transformation into a cyborg, or allowing technology to conveniently direct our lives at the cost of independence.
3. In disguise:
The motif of alienation, choosing one's own path to enlightenment, which paradoxically does not provide happiness.
4. Cold embrace:
he motif of life after death. Strong emotions often do not allow people to come to terms with the loss of loved ones. Often, for a long time, we cultivate the idea of their continued presence in our everyday lives.
5. In your eyes:
The sick mind of a murderer who explains his crimes with higher goals. Only his victim sees the truth, in whose eyes he is a corrupted person.
6. The room:
A song about identity, and acceptance of the animal nature that lies dormant in us and is just waiting for the opportunity to take control over us.
7. Last day:
The motif of a relationship, a relationship impossible to fulfill, forbidden love that must be ended.
8. Quiet and calm:
The anti-war motif, is the lonely death of a soldier. The senselessness of violence, the blood of victims and attackers equally soaks into the ground. "Silence and peace" appears here only in the last moments of life.
9. Silence I have (made):
An unfinished sentence. The motif of isolation, and silence taken as a form of response to aggression, passive, passive resistance.
10. Rise:
The motif of Lazarus, someone who lived twice and died twice. Again the theme of life after life, but from a different perspective. To die twice is to suffer twice.
